The deluge of artificial intelligence photos
Scroll through social media these days and you’ll see them everywhere: beautiful log homes sitting beside perfectly still lakes, dramatic mountain views, roaring fireplaces, perfectly placed furniture, and families who somehow always look like they just stepped out of a lifestyle magazine. And then there’s the dog. The dog is usually sitting in exactly the right spot.
There’s no denying it, artificial intelligence has gotten incredibly good at creating beautiful images. In fact, it’s getting harder and harder to tell what’s real and what isn’t. Give AI a description of a dream log home and, in seconds, you can have a picture of something that looks pretty convincing. But there’s something missing. The life.
At Town + Country Cedar Homes, we love beautiful photography as much as anyone. But when it comes to showing our homes, we’d rather show you something that actually is. Real homes, real clients, real places.
That beautiful log home overlooking the water? It’s somebody’s actual home.

That dining table, set for a family gathering? Real people are going to live/love/laugh there.

The dog stretched out in the kitchen? He probably spends a lot of time there.

The boat tied to the dock? It really belongs there.

And that’s important because a log home isn’t just about how it looks. It’s about how it feels to live there. A home has a story. A computer can generate a spectacular room, but it can’t capture the memories that happened in that room. It can’t capture the way a family has arranged their furniture because that’s where everyone naturally ends up sitting. And it can’t tell you what it actually feels like to spend a summer evening on the porch of a real log home. Our clients can.
Inspiration is better when it is real.
Real homes.
Real landscapes.
Real families.
Real boats.
Real life.
Real dogs…
We don’t have to reimagine what life in a Town + Country Cedar Home looks like. Our clients are already living it.
