Do you use any other woods or exterior/interior finishes?

We have found that Northern White Cedar is the best wood to utilize on the exterior of your home as it is more resistant to moisture and the elements than other woods  - effectively lasting longer than most other Northern American grown lumber. On the interior, however, trusses with long spans are typically made of Douglas Fir, or Pine, dut to the tree's natural length and strength.  Northern White Cedar, while durable, easy to work with and resistant to moisture, rot and decay, is a soft wood.

In addition, we can design and  build your dream home using a variety of mediums including brick, stone, stucco, organic natural finishes of your selection and locate these finishes on both the interior and exterior of your home. We also utilize conventional drywall in homes as desired. We are a custom home builder and not limited to building using only log or timber. We're happy to provide you with a hybrid selection of unique and intriguing finishes to create the home of your dreams.
