Homeowner Manual & Survival Kit
Whether you are building a luxury log home or perhaps a quaint log cabin in you favorite vacation spot, you will receive a Homeowner Manual which is designed to assist you during the construction process and after you move into your home. This manual will answer many questions and prepare you for each step of the building experience. we are a luxury home builder of distinction and this is apparent in every job we take on.
We also provide you with a “Homeowner Survival Kit”. This kit includes a few basic necessities you will find useful throughout the course of construction such as a measuring tape, architectural scales, calculator and tabbed binder to keep your paperwork organized. These tools are all enclosed in a large canvas bag that you can tote around. Perfect when you travel north for meetings and site visits.
Service Newsletter
We issue a quarterly service newsletter which features seasonal maintenance and care tips for our traditional log cabins and custom log homes. We are continually researching information that we feel our homeowners should be aware of. If there is a topic you would like us to feature, we welcome your comments and suggestions. Project Timeline
Your project manager will provide you with a timeline at the beginning of your project which will outline each stage of construction with estimated completion dates.
Weekly Updates
Once we begin construction your Project Manager will send you a weekly update each Friday until your log or timber frame home is complete. We will often include site photos. This will keep you informed of construction progress on a weekly basis.
Subcontractor Weekly Report
We provide each subcontractor with a weekly report similar to your project timeline. This timeline keeps the subcontractors informed so they may schedule their work according to the current stage of the project. Just another standard feature that helps to set this luxury home builder above all the rest.
3 & 11 Month Walk-Through
After your home is complete, you will be contacted to schedule both a 3 and an 11 month walk-through. At this time your project manager and our warranty coordinator will meet with you to thoroughly inspect your home and evaluate any warranty or service items that you may have. We will be happy to review maintenance questions with you at that time. You will receive a letter notifying you when you are due for each walk-through.
