FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Town & Country Cedar Homes began in 1947 with a $200 G.I. loan and an idea. Returning home after WWII, Bernie Kondrat and Ben Organek hitched up two horses and cut White Cedar from Bernie’s farm to build fences. The first of Town & Country’s many custom cedar log homes was built shortly thereafter with a bell saw and a $35 mill. Six decades later, Town & Country has become a renowned Michigan home builder and provider of commercial building services and materials to projects all over the world.
If you’re considering building a log home, it’s important to know that not every log home builder is the same. As custom log home builders with 60 years of experience, Town & Country can guide you through every aspect of the building process, from luxury log home designs to long-term log home maintenance. Below are a few of the frequently asked questions we receive. If you can’t find the information you need in our FAQs section, please contact us directly at 1-800-968-3178 for immediate assistance.
